Blue and Green Acaras

Getting them to tango...

Blue and Green Acaras

Postby Moglin on Sat Jan 17, 2004 7:05 am

I recently bought some Blue and Green Acaras and put them in my tank with my Jack Dempsey, Tangerine Zebras and Cherry Cheeks.

Since I have had them the Blue Acaras have layed eggs once and the Green Acaras have just layed again for a second time.

All the previous eggs only produced one surviving fry.
Every time I look into my tank there is less and less eggs left. I haven't seen any of the other fish including the parents eating them.

What could be happening to them?

Just because you didn't see any fish eating thej eggs doesn't mean it didn't happen. Did eggs disappear or did most of the eggs die/fungus etc..?
