Plant section - cichlidfish got the usenet group back online which have a plant section! - DONE can be expanded later if needed.
Photo section in the forums - Looking into it still
Contests - working on it - but to do any good ones we need more user activity first! - a few GOOD contests/contest prizes are VERY possiable - depending on how active the forums are!
