Hey whats up my new pair of oscars are
breeding and my Ngara peacock cichlids
are also breeding.But I thought they don't
breed arond this time year water in my tanks
are around 78-80.Thats wierd.

Yeah the oscars breeding was mess up by the red devil so they stopped breeding but the
african NGARA PEACOCKS have eggs one of my females has eggs in her mouth.

Just seperaeted the male peacock to a seperate tank with the other father wich is
a electric blue ahli that is expecting some eletric fry himself. the two females are togther
in the main tank

Hey breeder do you have some pics of a male and female electric blue? especially like to see the female blue...

Nope sorry I don't have scanner or a picture.

Both females are doing great I'm so exited
this like my third time I got them to breed.
I should have the babys in 7-9 days just
depends when they release the fry from there mouth if I don't flush the eggs out of thier
mouths I wount have fry til next month.

Yea, sounds like you're doing pretty good......how big of a batch do you usually get?

They usually have anywhere from 15-45
but from both females combined I get about
60 fry which can be qite profitable if my local fish store was still open.I usually make 100 bucks for 1 inch fry.The females
are looking a little worn out since they have
eaten for like week now.

Sounds good, you should get some digital camera and take some pics o yea, don't know if you guys know but there's some digital cameras (albeit 640x480) for like only $65 ....

Hi Denver,

Just keep an eye on the main page of the BBS at the bottom. That is where it tells you how many people are browsing the BBS at the same time. If you see couple people on then post an invite to the chatroom quickly. Sometimes we schedule some chat sessions for a certain day and time, all BBS members would be notified.

Both female just spat out there fry I took the baby into a 20 gallon tank filled with tons of cave and same water parameters as the tank they were born in.They are eating well
crushed spirulina flakes.There is 40 babys total.

Great! cool, hey Cichlid Breeder, if you can try to make a log of their SIZE, I'd really like to collect some DATA on GROWTH RATES of diff fish.

If you want growth rates there is no growth
rate they all grow at diffrent rates so they
won't be the same size even if there the same age.
