Algae

First time ever I have a green algae problem. It is in my 10 gal fry tank and it is driving me nuts. The tank is close to a large atrium door with lots of glass and I'm sure that is causing it. The problem is I can't move the tank to another room because I don't have the space.

Well, I guess I could move the tank to another room but I don't want to. Why have a fish tank if it is stuck away in one of the bedrooms where nobody will see it?

Other than moving the tank, does anyone have any suggestions?

Block the light source -- maybe put up some paper on the aquarium wall facing the atrium door, I use gift wrap in similar circumstances. (Blue foil looks great --) Unless it's the front of the aquarium facing the atrium door :)

The other approach, short of haveing a planted tank, is to get a UV steralizer, but I think its pretty pricey for a ten gallon tank.
