80 Gallon Oscar Tank

These are the first fish I ever seriously took care of myself. My dad has had fish all my life off and on, and even had some oscars when I was really little... I think it may have made an impression on me. I have three 9-10" oscars in this tank along with a common plecostamus, and a pictus catfish.I have about 5-6 amazon swords, a few shredded remains of some camboba(they love to tear this stuff up for some reason) and 4-5 stalks of anacharis elodea growing in some plastic pots that I got when we replanted our african violets. This keeps them from being uprooted when the oscars dig and horseplay, and I have noticed a dramatic improvement to the over all appearance of the plants since doing it. I would recommend this technique to anyone who wants to try live plants with their oscars.
